volunteering matters.

United Way of Eastern Fairfield County's Virtual Volunteer Center is a resource for anyone looking for volunteer opportunities in our service area encompassing Bridgeport, Stratford, Trumbull, Fairfield, Monroe and Easton. The Volunteer Center website lets you view opportunities that are available in these communities and prioritize them in your areas of interest. The online center currently has many opportunities sponsored by dozens of local nonprofit partners.

With the Virtual Volunteer Center, individual volunteers can:

  • Use a powerful search engine to locate a targeted opportunity that matches your interests, skills and availability.
  • Create multiple volunteer profiles based on these criteria so upon returning to the site you can search the database by your preferences automatically.
  • Research the sponsoring agency to find out more about the organization before volunteering.

Why Use The Virtual Volunteer Center?

  • Immediate web based access to targeted opportunities
  • Standardized information on opportunities so you can compare them
  • Customized information that saves you time and matches you to the perfect opportunity.

We even include directions to the opportunity when appropriate.
