UNITED WAY APPOINTS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

United Way of Eastern Fairfield County announced the promotion of Hilda P. Johnson to the position of Chief Financial Officer. On January 7, 2002, Johnson had been promoted to Manager of Special Accounting and Technology Systems, responsible for the daily management of the information systems and special accounting services for designations, allocations and the annual audit. She served as acting Chief Financial Officer from February 4 until being named to the post on March 1. Johnson was previously a Senior Accountant. She joined United Way’s Finance Department in 2000. She was instrumental to the implementation of the ANDAR campaign software that increased United Way’s pledge processing capabilities and efficiencies. Johnson is a resident of Fairfield.
