"The Great Street Sweep" of Park Avenue organized by the University of Bridgeport


University volunteers also cleaned up public areas on campus.	A food drive held at the Arena at Harbor Yard provided The Salvation Army of Greater Bridgeport with 1,000 pounds of food to distribute to hungry families.


Volunteers from the City of Bridgeport installed a handicap access ramp at Jewish Family Service. Materials were donated by General Electric. Photos at the right show the beginning of the day and after the ramp was completed.
Cox Radio sponsored a barbeque for Grasmere Eldercare in Fairfield. Volunteers from Cox Radio prepared and served the meal. Clients presented handmade thank you gifts to the volunteers.

Music and Arts Center for Humanity received a fresh coat of paint applied by volunteers from Zeldes, Needle & Cooper, PC

At the Kennedy Center Client Picnic, volunteers from People's Bank cooked, served food and participated in a day-long celebration.

	At the Stratford YMCA, volunteers from People's Bank painted newly remodeled rooms, planted shrubs and prepared flowerbeds for winter.

Bridge House received a face lift at the hands of Department of Social Services volunteers.

Volunteers from Trumbull Marriott and Housing Authority, City of Bridgeport were kept busy at Girl Scouts of Housatonic Council sprucing up the exterior, painting bathrooms and taking inventory of the shop.


Volunteers from People's Bank painted at The Center for Women & Families.		Windows in the Queen's Daughters convent were washed by volunteers from Bridgeport Hospital.


The Child Guidance Center's garden got it's Fall clean up at the hands of volunteers from NASDAQ.
		At Goodwill Industries of Western Connecticut, volunteers from People's Bank created favors for upcoming holiday parties.

	Volunteers from Aquarion Water Company painted the Community Room of ASPIRA.

At Family Services Woodfield, Volunteers from AMS Planning & Research Corp. planted bulbs and


Volunteers from People's Bank lent their expertise to The CO-OP Center of the Council of Churches of Greater Bridgeport, offering assistance with resume preparation.

The 2002 class of Leadership Greater Bridgeport joined with staff members of Bridgeport Regional Business Council to prepare the grounds of The Burroughs Community Center for winter.
