Bridgeport Alliance for Mentoring Promotes Mentoring Opportunities

BAM is a group of providers of mentoring services who have come together through The Governor’s Prevention Partnership’s urban mentoring initiative that was created in 2005. The goal of the Urban Mentoring Initiative is to substantially increase the number of mentors for children at risk, increase the capacity of existing mentoring programs, develop new mentoring programs and models to address any gaps in service, and identify and leverage additional mentoring resources.
Volunteer opportunities are available with the following agencies:
