Company Profile:
Fairfield University is one of the great success stories in American higher education today. Although only 64 years old, Fairfield is among the nation’s foremost Jesuit institutions of higher education. With a foundation in the time-honored values of Jesuit learning and a dynamic blend of theoretical and applied learning, Fairfield prepares individuals for success in life measured by how deeply they challenge themselves and how they influence the world for the better. The University has a highly selective student body and a talented faculty, trained at some of the most highly regarded universities in the nation and the world.
Fairfield University trains students in scholarship; prepares students for leadership; encourages students to engage in service projects; and develops students with strong social concerns for the common good.
Fairfield is organized into six schools: The College of Arts and Sciences; the Charles F. Dolan School of Business; the School of Nursing; the School of Engineering; the Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions; and University College. The faculty and deans design and offer degree programs rich in disciplinary content and in engagement with the ever-changing global community.

Fairfield has a further obligation to the wider community of which it is a part, to share with its neighbors its resources and its special expertise for the betterment of the community as a whole. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to participate in the larger community through service and academic activities. But most of all, Fairfield serves the wider community by educating its students to be socially aware and morally responsible persons.
Fairfield College Preparatory School :
The mission of Fairfield Prep is to offer its students the finest preparation for college; to inspire in its students a lifelong love of learning; to invite each student to deepen his relationship with God; to encourage each student’s social, cultural and physical development; to challenge its students to become leaders, living as men of conscience, compassion and action.
Fairfield Prep strives to accomplish this mission by demonstrating personal care and concern for all of its students and by celebrating their unique gifts and diversity. In turn, students are expected to become responsible participants in the Prep community and beyond and are encouraged to use their talents in the service of others, especially to those in need
Company’s UWEFC Campaign:
Fairfield University maintains an ongoing partnership with United Way of Eastern Fairfield County. This year’s Fairfield University Giving Campaign focuses on two of United Ways major Community Impact areas. Success by 6, so that every child reaches school ready to learn, and Operation Graduation, because our young people need a diploma to compete in today’s global economy. Mentoring and tutoring are essential strategies in both of these initiatives to educate and prepare students for their future roles in the community.
For the past three years, Fairfield University has actively supported the United Way of Eastern Fairfield County’s Day of Caring. Their sponsorship has helped promote and maintain this volunteer event that helps improve our communities and the lives of the people within them.
