What is 2-1-1 Infoline?

Infoline taps directly into a vast network of providers ready to address virtually any call for help - via the telephone. Calling 2-1-1 from any phone immediately connects you to a single source for information about community services, referrals to human services, even crisis intervention. How can 2-1-1 help me?

Connecticut residents call Infoline for many reasons. Professional, compassionate caseworkers help callers with questions about complex issues like substance abuse, gambling, domestic violence, suicide, financial problems and much more. Callers may just be looking for volunteer opportunities. By dialing 2-1-1, a caller is connected with an Infoline caseworker who can assess a situation and search for community services in their area that can help.

A typical 2-1-1 call may come from:

  • The mother of a 12-year-old worried about her
son who is skipping school regularly.

    notice she just received.
