St. Vincent's Medical Center

St. Vincent’s Medical Center has a long history of supporting United Way of Eastern Fairfield County. With the employee campaign raising more than $75,000, the 2006 giving campaign has been their most successful in five years. A key ingredient to their success and support of United Way is the Campaign Committee pictured below.

The committee planned and oversaw the annual raffle, a campaign event that is anticipated with bated breath. Every employee who makes a contribution to United Way has a chance to win one of the unique and beautiful gift baskets, which are created and donated by various departments. At this year’s November 17 raffle, there were more than 40 baskets of varying themes.

Kicking off the raffle event are (from left) Stephen Radziewicz, committee member; Donna Pfrommer, United Way of Eastern Fairfield County; committee members Maureen Parmalee, Ellen Berquist, Jim Gengo, Katalin Gyorgyey; Mary Jane Perry, Basket Raffle Coordinator; and Lucinda Ames, committee member.
